The following guidelines apply to all member activities on the LymphNotes.com website.

• All members must be over 13 years of age to register, by registering you agree to follow these guidelines. Children age 13 or younger may read material on the site but are not permitted to register, post, or participate.
• This is a family website: LymphNotes.com reserves the right to edit or remove messages that are: profane, obscene, sexually explicit or contain derogatory comments about any person, religion, race, disability, condition, or gender.
• We do not provide medical advice. Therefore LymphNotes.com reserves the right to edit or remove any content that is deemed to be “medical advice.”
• Postings by lymphedema therapists (and other professionals) are identified with their credentials only after these credentials have been documented. See My Pro Info for details.
• Medical Professionals Only forums are restricted to members with professional status. See My Pro Info for information on upgrading to professional status.
• Life With Lymphedema is the LymphNotes.com message board where members can share their lymphedema related stories. When writing, please remember that we are seeking to emphasize the “brighter side” of lymphedema. LymphNotes.com reserves the right to edit all postings for appropriateness of content and length.
• When Posting a message, protect yourself, and others, and do not suggest that members e-mail you so you can provide information. To do so, is considered solicitation — and is not allowed. LymphNotes.com reserves the right to edit all postings for appropriateness of content, and length.
• Linking is OK when you link to other websites is for informational purposes only. 
• Advertising here is not permitted. These links carry the disclaimer, “Inclusion here does not constitute an endorsement.” LymphNotes.com reserves the right to remove a link or post if it appears to be primarily for the purpose of advertising a product or service.
• Solicitations are not OK! It is not acceptable to solicit or coerce others to join other websites through posts, e-mail, or any other resource within the LymphNotes.com website. This ban ncludes advertisements, chain letters, multi-level marketing schemes, and similar solicitations.

• Revealing your identity. Under normal circumstances your LymphNotes.com member information is protected by the LymphNotes.com Privacy Policy. However, LymphNotes.com reserves the right to reveal whatever information we know about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you or any other activity on this website.
• Discontinuing membership. LymphNotes.com reserves the right to discontinue the membership of anyone who does not comply with these guidelines, or for any reason considered essential for good of the community and its safety.
